Why Join a State Motorcyclists Rights Organization?

There are many reasons people ride motorcycles. For some, riding is a way to relax and being in the wind provides an escape from the day to day grind of life. For others, riding is a way of life, a passion, and it provides a freedom no other experience can equal. Regardless of your reason for riding, joining a State Motorcyclists Rights Organization (SMRO) will help you insure you can continue to enjoy riding your motorcycle. SMROs provide awareness of legislation that threatens your personal freedoms and liberties as a motorcyclist. They monitor legislation and work with legislators on a daily basis, to protect and preserve your rights.

SMROs work for biker rights on a daily basis. They encourage motorcycle training and motorcycle awareness as a means of accident prevention. Joining these organizations insures that they can continue to work for YOU and protect you against the regulations and legislation that threaten your lifestyle. Not only will you become a part of the solution, you'll receive newsletters from each of them that keep you abreast of what's happening Virginia concerning your rights as a biker. You'll have an opportunity to be involved and have your voice heard and you'll be provided information to teach you how to fight for your rights. There's a lot of power in information and facts, and these organizations provide these and more!

Joining is easy and when you consider what you gain from it, it's inexpensive. You can join on-line or you can print the forms to join through the mail. For more information on what these organizations do for you and how to join, go to the following:

Nicely said Hersey.

When I joined a SMRO a couple of years ago, I was shocked to learn of how our government tries to sneak in bills that strip not only bikers, but all Americans of their civil rights.

I am very proud to be a member of VFR and VCOM as they are ALWAYS fighting for my right to ride what I want, when I want, wear the clothing that I want to wear while riding and be safe doing so.
